Q. Briefly tell us about the CEO/Founders of the MOBtexting.
MOBtexting carries the excellence of a duo – Mr. Ajay Gupta & Mr. Brijesh Kumar. Both did their graduation from Gorakhpur University & comes from humble family backgrounds. After graduation, both finished the post-graduation program at ICBM-School of Business Excellence, one of the premier B-Schools in Hyderabad. This was where the duo met & shared the rooms, and spent their college life together. They worked on multiple business plans during management education, giving them time to bounce different ideas on starting their venture. As the Telecom industry was evolving and penetration was aggressive & they came up with the idea of building a communication ecosystem focused on serving the needs of businesses globally.
Before starting up, they worked with a couple of companies to garner the first-hand experience of corporate, clients & market at the grassroots level. Investing initial years of corporate experience, they inherited messaging & cloud telephony into their blood and finally started off their own venture with full enthusiasm & experience.
In 2012, Ajay Gupta started 3m Digital Networks as a service company to offer digital & technology services to customers in partnership with other prominent players & later Brijesh joined. Two years later, they launched their own Cloud Communication Company, which is popularly known as MOBtexting today.
Q. Kindly brief us about your strategies behind those services/products. If possible, kindly give us a one-line unique quote that best describes your company.
3m Digital Networks was started as a service company to offer digital & technology services to customers in partnership with other prominent players, which was a need to time & later the company launched MOBtexting, which focuses on the market’s needs & its customers. MOBtexting’s products/services are focused on helping businesses to connect, communicate & engage their customers efficiently, seamlessly, and at scale. MOBtexting offers a cloud communication platform on multi-channel like Messaging, Voice, e-Mail, WhatsApp Business API, and APIs. The platform also provides solutions like Call Masking, Long and Shortcodes, Call Conferencing, IVR, Click-to-call, and toll-free solutions. These solutions are incredibly essential for any business that wants to create a more significant brand impression and provide service to their customers through multiple channels.
Q. Kindly share your opinion on the Telecom Industry:
The Telecom Industry has overgrown in the past two decades. The industry is so versatile that it paves the way for many innovations and new applications. India being the 2nd largest telecom market in the world where it is expected to grow further in coming years, it always motivates us to be updated with the trend and provide the best possible services bringing innovations towards enhancing cloud communication space.
Q. Kindly brief us about the most satisfactory experience with a client. What kind of game-changing services have you provided to them?
As a service provider, each client is crucial to us, and we put our utmost efforts to cater to their requirements. We have been enabling our clients to make transactions secure via 2FA & enhance communication & engagement using our other services.
Q. With cut-throat competition and everyday evolution, how MOBtexting faces new as well as prominent competitors?
Competition in any business is inevitable, which is a fact. We need to acknowledge our strengths and understand the competition. We should know where we can do better than our competitors, so it helps us to stay ahead of the curve. And the most important thing is we should understand our customers and know our targeting markets. With all these positive factors, we are equipped for the competition which comes our way.
Q. Share with us the challenges faced by MOBtexting in the Telecom industry.
People would call “entrepreneurship” a rewarding proposition. But setting up a venture comes with its fair proportion of challenges and obstacles. Thousands of startups are founded daily, but only a few of them could survive or make up to the successful business entities. We have gone through such struggles during our initial phase and even continue to face them now regularly. These incorporate things like getting funds to run a business, employing the perfect individuals, getting technology in place, fabricating a brand, dealing with competitors, etc.
There are multiple players in the market for the services that we offer; hence survival was difficult & with hard work and determination, we have created our place in the market after all the obstacles and challenges thrown at us. TRAI and big telecom operators set rules and regulations, which prominent companies to through these challenges, but we struggle and sail through it every day. There is no single challenge that can stop passionate entrepreneurs from successfully running a startup.
Q. What lies ahead of MOBtexting in the future?
We have been working towards fulfilling the needs of customers & the market. As a company, we have evolved ourselves over time, starting as a just SMS company and transforming into a Cloud communication company over multiple channels such as SMS, Voice, e-Mail, WhatsApp Business API, Voice Bot, ChatBot, RCS & so on. We have adopted AI & ML in our platform and plan to upgrade it to serve our customers better. We’re focusing on bringing blockchain technologies into our offerings and adding more channels to enable customers to connect, communicate & engage effectively and efficiently globally.
