A Harbinger of Change
CEO Minnie Bodhanwala got the opportunity to work with Wadia Hospitals in November 2012. During the time, the hospital was itself facing a major crisis. However, the situation was unable to shake Minnie. Turning the other cheek, she took it as a challenge and commenced streamlining the transformation of both the Hospitals.
Besides the operational challenges, she had another hurdles that demanded a strong solution. This included the hospitals being heritage structures as well as its stability and expansion of services.
Her mission was to get the Children’s Hospital function, which endured structural damages in 2007-08 and enhance the quality of patient care. However, most importantly, she had to ensure safety for all the patients.
Without holding back, Minnie proudly achieved the same and has brought up a functional pediatric hospital with 450 Beds.
As the torchbearer of hospitals, her primary responsibilities remain on strategizing and achieving the objectives. She also strives towards the vision and mission of the organizations, dedicating a lot of time for positive change management and team-building across all the departments.
On a personal level, Minnie describes herself as an individual who is striving for impact and focused on results. She is all about hard, long sustained, meaningful, and impactful work in the field of women empowerment. She is a strong supporter and promoter of women empowerment and draw inspiration from all the women she works with.
Not all that, she’s actively involved with various Healthcare organizations and forums as part of Socializing in the healthcare world.
