Please share the most memorable and remarkable moment of your life.
I am still happy to recall the golden moment of getting into a leading MNC (CTS) for a training programme through Sanga Consultancy Service long ago, which opened a galaxy of opportunities in the world of corporate training and development. Later on, it helped us contact various public limited companies and private limited companies for the subsequent training projects. That was an impeccable moment of transition that I still remember.
There are so many other moments to recall, especially when I got my collection of my poems published and released at the National Poetry Society in New Delhi. Prof. Madan Gopal Gandhi released it, and my presentation at the meeting was also published.
I recall when I addressed the National Poets Meet in Bengaluru too, the Bangalore Buzz carried my interview on the front page. I could very much remember how several media channels reported my talk at another important national poets’ meet in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
Where do you see yourself and the company in the future? Or, what is your goal to mark its uniqueness in the future?
It is absolutely true to see a transition taking place quite easily after the pandemic. We are still trying to cater to the global demands in the training field with succinct innovations and improvisations. Our online services have been highly successful. Our podcasts and Youtube channel, besides our newsletter, are being appreciated widely.
Advice for the entrepreneur who is trying to embark on the same field.
One has to learn new things every day if one has to prosper in any field. Be open to global opportunities and seek the guidance of peers in actualizing the same. You could transform yourself and your team with a vision of inspiring the world with high-quality services. It is essential to be a superspecialist in certain segments and a generalist in a few other segments too.Never get settled with mediocrity and an average life. Just enjoy being yourself and do the best for the world with all that you have.
What is the one thing that is acting as your motivational tool? Or, who is your role model, and how does that person inspire and motivate you?
I love to read Joseph Murphy’s books and listen to Jim Rohn’s, and I also do a series of think-tanks to motivate myself. I look at myself in the mirror and do some positive self-affirmations about my future literary mission and other training trajectory for posterity. I meditate every day and chant the holy name of the Lord Krishna every morning, and I chant the maha mantra of the Lord Ayyappa in the evening. I meditate on Buddha to keep my mind calm and chant “Buddham Saranam Gacchami!” Dhammam Saranam! Gacchami Dhammam Saranam!Sangham Saranam Gacchami! “
I love reading about several legendary poets and writers: Theodore Roethke, Charles Olson, Robert Creeley, HD, Ezra Pound, TS Eliot, John Keats, PB Shelley, WB Yeats, Rabindrath Tagore, Mahavi Bharati, Hilda Dolittle, Marianne Moore, Gertrude Stein, Wallace Stevens, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and innumerable living poets. My father, Shri PG Muralidharan, alias Dheivaguru Shri Murali Guruswamy, happened to be my philocrity of life beyond the limitations.
Prof.AV Ashok, Prof.Alok Bhalla, Prof.G Meenakshi Sundaram, Prof.P.Krishnan, Prof.PK Vasudevan, Prof.K. Balu, Prof.Sathyamoorthy, Prof.P Viswanathan, Prof.R. Sreenivasan, Prof.S Natarajan, Prof.V Rajagopal, Prof.R Natrajan, Prof.Pillai, Prof. They have supported me whenever I faced any hurdle. They used to help me overcome it.
I read some of the best couplets in Thirukural, The Hindu, some journal articles and a few poems almost every day, besides some spiritual literature.
Dr Rajiv C Krishnan, a fullbright fellow from Cambridge trained Mangal for more than three semesters to excel in his writings.
It was impossible for Mangal to have completed his postgraduation without the financial support rendered by nine of his teachers from Govt Arts College in Coimbatore, who helped him to pursue a career in education.
How easy is it to create innovative trends in business?
I am sure, any business leader has some great ideas for managing business with innovative services. Our commitment directs the path of exploration and development. We need to be willing to stay above the politics of corporate monopolies and strive for everlasting excellence.
