Even the most conventional sectors are continually changing and evolving in today’s world. This poses a challenge to company executives, who must seek to adapt in order to flourish in the future.
As organizations emerge from the epidemic into a new age, leadership will increasingly be assessed by their ability to understand the significant developments that are transforming our world. Modern leadership demands that navigating through business changes needs a specific mindset in order for industry progress to be positive rather than detrimental.
Today, every leader must be a technology leader, innately aware that business and innovation strategies are increasingly indistinguishable, and capable of fusing the two seismic shifts driving change: technological development and sustainability.
Since the late 1980s, Mauricio Frizzarin has been creating technologies. He began working at the age of 17 and developed software for managing payroll and filing taxes, which altered the routines of accountants and small and medium-sized businesses. Mauricio quickly understood that instead of selling the program, it would be more profitable to offer the service, or usage. It was very innovative in the 1990s, and he was able to offer a low price for the service, which helped his business grow significantly. The software quickly became the most used in the accounting area, with over 100,000 customers, and this attracted the attention of international companies, allowing him to sell the company.
Despite his youth, Mauricio was always able to listen to the challenges of a given firm, swiftly integrate knowledge, and develop and deliver answers. Folhamatic, the firm that was founded in Brazil, became well-known in the market. Sage Software acquired 75% of the company in 2013 for more than $170 million. The remaining 25% was traded in 2015. It was the second-largest software firm sale in Brazil.
Qyon was launched in the year when the COVID-19 epidemic began, so the firm faced a significant obstacle in developing the company while dealing with a very complex issue. Leading distant teams digitally, organizing everyone around clear goals and allowing the formation of a high-performing team Mauricio states, “We have just participated in the biggest business event, at which I was one of the speakers, having the opportunity to present our solutions to a very large audience.”
Vision behind Qyon’s Inception
Mauricio predicted that future software would be built on artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, and machine learning, and that all of these coordinated technologies could provide significantly greater efficiency. Bigtechs and huge corporate conglomerates are investing extensively in solutions based on these technologies since the world will require more and more efficiency. But how will small and medium-sized businesses, which are frequently unable to spend on developing distinctive software, fare in this much more competitive future? Mauricio believed he could invest in building a fully novel program that would aid in the management of these organizations’ business and financial operations by utilizing artificial intelligence. He has since tried to democratize the use of artificial intelligence for these businesses. It inspired Mauricio to start afresh, so he founded Qyon, a new software firm built on these developing technologies that offers them to clients at a reasonable cost, allowing them to move fast toward digital transformation.
Qyon is a software technology firm with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, robots, machine learning, and big data applications for corporate management. Products and services are being created to manage and integrate all the processes and sectors that comprise a firm, with the goal of revolutionizing the interaction between workers and machines.
In addition to the software, the business developed a fintech that can be coupled with it, further automating a company’s financial processes and assuring the lowest cost per operation. It is vital to note that the team is constantly evolving and already relies on blockchain technology. Additionally, the team will soon be operating a cryptocurrency exchange, which will permit connection with the complete Qyon corporate infrastructure.
Milestones to Celebrate
At the beginning of his career, Mauricio was developing software, and he was very quick to create solutions. He recalls, “Many times, many did not believe that I would be able to deliver, but I was always surprised and managed to deliver with great quality and speed.” Imagine what it was like to develop financial management software in a few days. Mauricio sees that the sale of the company is undoubtedly a milestone, as is the creation of Qyon.
Mauricio is feeling that sensation again, as if he has been summoned to join with the world’s desire for digital change. As a result, he feels that this synchronization of decisions was the tipping point for everything to fall into place.
Qyon was born digital. The team believes in collaboration among all parties involved and has developed the most comprehensive and sophisticated solution on the market, focusing on artificial intelligence and machine learning. Mauricio says, “We are able to serve several markets with our solutions. We started with Brazil and the USA, but we plan to expand our borders to other continents.”
Mauricio created the first Brazilian air sports team. He states, “We are based in the USA, and we participate in the biggest competitions and air shows in the world. This year we were at several events in the US, such as Sun’n’Fun (Florida), Reno Air Races (Nevada), and Airventure Oshkosh (Wisconsin).”
His greatest recognition as a leader comes every time he hears from customers that Qyon’s software helped solve a big problem at their company. He says, “Providing a digital platform with the ability to help each cliente: this is our greatest recognition.”
“Innovate Every Day, Make a Difference”
As a business leader, Mauricio seeks the opportunity to make a difference in the world by assisting customers in finding the best solutions for their needs. He is a terrific technology enthusiast who is always seeking for new challenges to keep himself motivated and pleased.
His advice for young lads is to “Be very attentive to the changes happening in the world and in your market. Always ask yourself: what can you do to help improve my client’s life? Get ready and get started as soon as possible.” He further suggests that aspiring business leaders should seek challenges, build a strong team, and always maintain customer focus and service excellence. Mauricio believes this is a good recipe for business leadership.
