Sparsh Khandelwal, the founder and CEO of Stylework, is a spiritual man who believes in the power of manifestation. Sparsh began thinking about starting his own business when he was 19 years old. He was a young man who became isolated and wanted to learn about things other than what was popular. He wanted to make coworking accessible and easy for everyone in India, as well as across the globe.

Q. Tell us something about your company and its services.
Stylework is an emerging management consultancy in the industry of commercial real estate. We help businesses by solving their workspace related problems, reducing costs and finding unconventional ways of doing things. Stylework offers an array of services around co-working spaces. We are a co-working aggregation company where we leverage technology to build scalable solutions under one roof. Stylework’s specially built Corporate Product Suite allows companies to create, book, allocate and track various kinds of flexible memberships with ease. With our plug-and-play setup, we offer flexible managed offices and co-working spaces to various organisations across multiple domains and sizes according to their requirements. Along with this, we also help in providing warehouses, virtual offices, and built-to-suit workspaces according to the requirements. Our product facilitates complete legal checks to hassle-free exit anytime, without a lock-in commitment for months or years.
Q. Tell us how you deal with current problems related to the start-up world.
Facing problems is something very common in the start-up world, as there are a lot of new things that need to be figured out. Adapting to change is essential in order to effectively deal with such problems. There are times when one feels under pressure. This may be due to clients or investors backing out, or employee issues. At times, these problems become inevitable, especially in a start-up. Sparsh is a spiritual person who believes in the power of manifestation. He has trained himself well to hold patience even in the toughest of times. He doesn’t let difficult situations overpower his other essential decisions for the company. Even in the most difficult of times, Sparsh makes sure that his team is motivated and aligned with the goals of the company.
Q. What is the present scenario of the startup? How are you contributing to making it better?
Currently, Stylework is a proud co-working aggregator with over 1200+ locations to choose from across India, and we soon plan to expand the company globally. We have a B2C lined product and are now anticipating a second scale growth over it. We leverage our cutting edge technology to provide all-in-one workspace solutions for everyone with advanced features like real-time availability, bidding, dynamic pricing, flexible membership plans, and much more, covering all aspects of customer needs. As the demand for co-working in key metros remains subdued, we are also expanding to tier 2 and 3 cities to make flexible workspaces easily accessible anytime and anywhere. In order to better the situation, we are now talking to the next round of VCs to convince them to invest in us for better growth. We are also aligning our short-term goals so that achieving the long term goals becomes a cake walk. We are now working closely with the product and setting up bigger and better alliances. Soon we will create a buzz in the market and build a brand loved by all.
Q. What are the marketing strategies adopted by the company?
To build our presence in the industry, Stylework actively leverages digital marketing platforms, strategic alliances and affiliate partners, direct sales channels, and events with government bodies and industry federations. Recently, we were the principal partner of the esteemed FICCI-organised India Flexible Workspace Summit 2021, wherein many leaders from the industry participated and validated the concept of flexible models of workspaces such as hub and spoke, walk to work, and remote working.
Q. How do you portray the future of the company in the next decade?
Today, Stylework is a proud coworking aggregator with over 1200+ space listings across India. In this era of hyrid and flexible work models, Stylework is keeping pace with the changing trends of the industry. Stylework recently launched another office in the IT capital of the country, Bangalore, and we aim to open up 7 offices by the end of 2022. We soon plan to take this company to global markets. Our conviction and dedication will surely make Stylework reach the unicorn mark in the next 2-3 years and then raise an IPO in the next 5 years. Our aim is to build a team of over 10,000 working professionals and design a world-class product to enable co-working with ease globally. With this, we wish to achieve a billion users on our B2B and B2C products.
Q. What advice would you give to upcoming entrepreneurs and professionals?
Being an entrepreneur is not as easy as it may sound. My advice to upcoming entrepreneurs and professionals is simple: in order to succeed, you need to have patience and perseverance. You need to stay ultra-focused on your goals and prioritise accordingly. The most important thing is to keep going through all the ups and downs that you might face during your venture. The key to success for any startup is to be open to critics and feedback. Never take negative feedback personally; instead, use it to improve your product/service.There are times when things might pan out really fast, but sometimes it may take time. This is when you need to be patient and have faith in your idea or work.
