About the Leadership
Raymond Finch, Managing Director of Thames British School Warsaw, is a seasoned international school Principal with extensive recruitment experience across diverse contexts. He has recruited staff for schools in locations such as the UK, Europe, the CIS, The Middle East, China, West Africa, and Central Asia.
Between 2017 and 2021, Raymond led the restaffing and improvement of a chain of international schools in the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2019, he also managed the setup of a British & IB curriculum school in Uzbekistan, successfully recruiting thirty staff within three months.
As a Principal in 2014, Raymond recruited fifty-seven staff for a school startup in Russia, which received an excellent rating from the ISI in all areas just two years after opening. Prior to this, he was the founding Principal of a British International School in Uzbekistan, which he led from 2010 until 2013.
Raymond completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NCTL) in 2012 and obtained an MBA in Educational Leadership (UCL) in 2018. He is a certified school inspector with the Independent Schools Inspectorate and is fluent in Russian.
