The Business Fame Magazine proudly presents an exclusive conversation with Riya Gote – a prolific writer, founder of the renowned branding firm Scriberlee, and an inspiring self-awareness trainer.
Riya’s journey from being a hardcore writer to a celebrated author and ghostwriter, and her mantra of self-confidence as a superpower, makes her a beacon of empowerment. On this Women’s Day, she shares her story, wisdom, and vision.
Q1: Riya, you wear so many hats – an author, a ghostwriter, a trainer, and the founder of Scriberlee. How do you manage to balance it all?
Riya Gote: Thank you! I believe passion makes balancing multiple roles possible. Writing has always been my first love as it’s the most authentic way I express myself. Founding Scriberlee was my way of giving shape to that passion, creating a platform where creativity meets strategy. As a self-awareness trainer, I help others find their voice and confidence, which aligns with my own mantra: “Self-confidence is a superpower. Once you start believing in yourself, the magic starts happening.” Every role I take on is connected by this belief, and that keeps me grounded.
Q2: You recently authored The Hanuman’s Diary: Mantras. Meanings. Manifestations. Tell us about the inspiration behind this book.
Riya Gote: This book is very close to my heart. I’ve always been fascinated by Hanuman’s deep faith and immense strength. Through this book, I wanted to explore his wisdom and how his mantras and teachings apply to our modern lives. It’s not just about spirituality but it’s about harnessing inner strength and confidence, something I deeply resonate with. The response has been overwhelming, and it’s beautiful to see how many people connect with the power of these ancient teachings.
Q3: You’ve also been a successful ghostwriter. How does it feel to help others tell their stories while staying behind the scenes?
Riya Gote: Being a ghostwriter is an art of empathy and expression. It’s about diving into someone else’s vision and giving it a voice. I find immense joy in shaping stories that inspire and inform, even if my name isn’t on the cover. It’s not about the credit but it’s about creating something meaningful. Through ghostwriting, I’ve learned that every person has a story worth telling, and I’m honoured to help bring those stories to life.
Q4: As the founder of Scriberlee, what was your vision when you started the firm?
Riya Gote: Scriberlee was born out of a need to merge creativity with strategy. I wanted to create a space where brands could find their authentic voice and stand out in a crowded market. We specialize in content writing, branding, LinkedIn optimization, and training — all driven by storytelling. My vision was simple, “Making YOU Unique” which means to support businesses and individuals articulate their value and create lasting impact.
Q5: You often talk about self-awareness and self-confidence in your training sessions. Why do you think these aspects are so crucial?
Riya Gote: Self-awareness is the foundation of growth. When you understand your strengths, weaknesses, values, and desires, you make choices aligned with your true self. Self-confidence, on the other hand, fuels action. It’s the courage to take risks, speak up, and pursue dreams. I always say, “Self-confidence is a superpower,” because once you start believing in yourself, opportunities and possibilities expand in ways you never imagined. Through my training, I aim to support people unlock that magic.
Q6: Finally, what message would you like to share with women striving to make their mark in the world?
Riya Gote: Believe in your journey and own your story. Don’t wait for validation — your dreams are valid because they’re yours. Embrace self-confidence and let it be your guiding force. Surround yourself with people who uplift you and never shy away from showcasing your talent. Remember, the magic starts happening when you start believing in yourself. And once that belief takes root, there’s no limit to what you can achieve.
On this Women’s Day, we celebrate Riya Gote — a woman who writes not just with words but with purpose and passion. Her journey is a testament to the power of self-confidence and the magic of believing in oneself.
